Suits season 8 episode 8 preview: Harvey and Samantha team up

Following tonight’s episode, Suits season 8 episode 8 next week is looking to have a number of big events take place. It’s a chance to see Louis Litt continue the journey that he’s been on ever since the start of the season (albeit with a false-positive setback) and for Harvey Specter, he’s going to have a chance to get to know Samantha Wheeler so much better than he imagined he would at the start of the season.

Remember how mysterious she was? A certain part of that may still be there, but Katherine Heigl’s character is going to find herself in a position moving forward where she needs a little bit of help and thinks that Harvey is the right person for it. Why not Robert Zane instead? We imagine that this is something we’ll get a little bit more information on in due time.

Can you believe that we’re almost at the end of the summer run of the series? It really does feel like the season just started, and that’s a huge credit to the writers and producers behind the scenes for navigating this transition so well and incorporating people like Dule Hill, Heigl, and Amanda Schull so effectively. We care for all of the characters now in their own way, even if some of their morality can certainly be called into question from time to time. That does happen, after all, when you’re a part of a show that is about lawyers jostling for power and recognition.
