Lodge 49 episode 5 preview: Dud’s new relationship; Ernie’s promotion

Interested in learning what lies ahead on Lodge 49 episode 5? Let’s kick things off here by saying this: Dud’s life may be better than it’s been all season. It seems like he’s got some love in his life (or at least a lighthearted romance) with his temp boss. They kissed at the end of tonight’s episode and, moving forward, it appears as though this relationship will continue — at least for now. Is Dud the sort of guy who can actually handle being together with someone, though? It’s hard to tell when he struggles to really keep himself on track.

The Lodge 49 episode 5 synopsis below offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead across the board:

The status of Larry moving forward this season is going to be one of a particularly-great import, mostly because that does impact what Ernie is able to do and also the overall stability of the Lodge itself. It’s a difficult place to be in the event that the man at the top of the food chain is disappearing and not entirely coherent when he is around. Just remember that this is the same dude who punched Dud when he first met him and at this point, there is really still not a whole lot of clarification out there as to why in the world he decided to do that. We’re not sure we will ever find out, mostly because Lodge 49 is a show more about just watching people live as opposed to try desperately to explore why it is that they live the way they do.

Above all else, we just hope the series remains as entertaining as it’s been.
