Ballers season 4 episode 3 preview: The skate-park video crisis

Ballers season 3 episode 8

Want to know what lies ahead on Ballers season 4 episode 3? Let’s just say that it will start with Spencer versus Lance. In some ways, Lance is absolutely brilliant at what he does — yet, at the same time he also has his fair share of flaws. One of the biggest ones is his apparent belief that money grows on trees and he can find a way to pluck it out of thin air. Take, for example, spending a great deal of money on what effectively amounts to a skate-park video.

With this, moving into the next new episode, we are going to have to see Dwayne Johnson’s character try his best to reel Lance in … which is probably not going to be altogether easy when he claims that much of his spending habit is for the sake of making art. Yet, that’s not the only thing to worry about entering this episode, as an event meant to honor Vernon could end up spiraling out of control — and at his former high school no less. This really should be one of those celebrations that is no-stress and simply emotional.

Below, the Ballers season 4 episode 3 synopsis offers some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

Spencer looks to reign in Lance’s excesses. Meanwhile, Vernon gets carried away at a ceremony retiring his number at his old L.A. high school, to Reggie’s dismay.

The promo below gives you a good sense as to what’s coming up not just for some of the characters mentioned, but also a few others including Ricky — who is still doing what he can to try and find a place for himself.

In the end, we’re used to these characters getting themselves out of tricky binds, and we’re pretty sure that this very thing is going to happen again.
