Real Housewives of Orange County preview: After the poker party…

Real Housewives of Orange County

What’s coming up on Monday night’s new Real Housewives of Orange County episode? There are a number of things to anticipate, but at the top of the list is going to be the aftermath of the poker party from this past episode.

In a lot of ways, we imagine that this poker party is going to follow what is a fairly tried-and-true pattern that we’ve seen with the Bravo series over the years, which is that the next few episodes are spent dealing with some of the aftermath of what happened, demanding apologies, and really just stirring things up all over again. Basically, this is going to be a chance to get to know both Emily and Gina better, and it is certainly a surprise to see the two going at each other rather than mixing it up with some of the more established Housewives on the series.

Below, the synopsis for the episode offers up a little more in the way of insight as to what is coming up next:

The ladies are surprised to learn how the poker night ended, leaving Gina and Emily at odds. Vicki travels to LA to record radio commercials for Coto Financial and ends up embarrassing her son Michael in the process. Shannon gets emotional as she goes to court as part of her divorce. Her good friend Tamra surprises Shannon with the gift of a matchmaker, while Kelly dates the “milkman.” After Emily leaves a happy hour early, the other women start to speculate about her marriage.

Just as fighting after parties is a big staple of the entire Real Housewives franchise, so is discussing the state of someone’s marriage. It is a huge part of the foundation of this series and it is certainly something that we imagine continuing to be a part of the show for many years to come. We just hope that Emily is prepared for what she is inevitably going to have to deal with.
