Suits season 8 episode 4 video: Is Louis Litt getting mugged?

Going into Suits season 8 episode 4, the biggest thing we need to keep saying here is just how good this current season is! While we loved Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle, we continue to be impressed with how well Aaron Korsh and the writers have made the transition into the new era of the show. Most of the characters seem to be fairly well-received; giving more screen time to Katrina Bennett seems to be an especially wise move, as her storyline about her migraines and fighting to become senior partner has shown itself to be especially engaging.

Moving into Wednesday night’s episode, what is also fairly fascinating is that in some ways, we’re facing an almost-clean slate given that there were a number of major problems resolved last week — although Harvey did find himself stuck doing free legal work with his landlord after a dispute stemming from a custodian. Tonight, Louis Litt being potentially mugged seems to be taking center stage (check out the preview CarterMatt has for you below). Unless whoever attacks him in the street is someone with a previous grudge against him (certainly possible, given the man’s history of burning bridges), what we’re looking at here is a random, terrible act of violence.

It’s especially sad that this attack is happening to Louis of all people, mostly due to the fact that he is someone who already struggles with finding a sense of strength and self-importance after being put down so much. Just earlier this season, he was struggling with not being treated like a name partner despite Zane Specter Litt being very clearly the name that is on the door. Knowing him, he’s going to feel like this mugging is an affront to his masculinity.

As for what’s happening beyond this story, don’t be shocked if Alex Williams finds himself in a tight spot over getting in deep with his recent client, one Samantha Wheeler warned him against — and as it turns out, for good reason. (Couldn’t she still have told him why working with them was such a bad idea?)
