The 100 season 5: Is Henry Ian Cusick leaving by finale’s end?
However, just because Marcus Kane is down does not mean that he is out. Speaking to reporters while promoting his new series The Passage at the TCA Summer Press tour, Cusick confirmed that he will be returning to the CW series for the upcoming sixth season.
Speaking to TVLine after the panel, Cusick reiterated that he is in a “very fortunate position that [he is on both shows], and we’ll see how it goes.”
With the way in which scheduling works, it is rather hard to figure that Cusick will be able to appear in every episode of both shows forever, but he may be able to keep it going for at least a little while. The biggest thing to remember with The 100 is that this is the sort of show that does eventually have an endpoint. There’s really only so long that you can tell some of these stories within the chaotic world that’s been presented to us. It’s possible that Kane finds a way to survive all of this and simply exists in a way in which we don’t see him anywhere near as much. This show does have a massive cast which could afford the opportunity for Kane to appear still but in a lesser capacity.
The 100 season 5 will air its season finale on Tuesday, and even though Kane is going to survive, that doesn’t mean that every other character is going to. We imagine that there still could be a number of other possible deaths coming given the state of the war and also the high stakes on the battlefield.
