Outlander video: Sam Heughan talks season 4, movies, more via Facebook

For those of you who love Outlander and Sam Heughan, we have quite the treat for you! Today, the actor stopped by Facebook in Los Angeles in order to answer some fan questions and, by and large, this is a really good time! There is no interviewer, but Sam carries the interview well on his own with a lot of humor and a little bit of prop comedy.

Sam also touches on a wide array of subjects within this article, starting off with this short tease on season 4: “Two weeks ago we [wrapped] the finale, and it really is the best finale yet.” He doesn’t say too much about Outlander, but he does make it clear that there are at least two more seasons coming and he is looking forward to reading the next two books in Diana Gabaldon’s series.

For those wondering, Heughan also did address the “talk” (which is mostly just British tabloid reporting) that he could be the next James Bond.

Aside from all of the show / Bond talk, Sam talks about locations that he’s visited, being “hung over” from the night before, and also what he’s doing next in Bloodshot. Sam is heading to South Africa next month to do some work on the comic-book adaptation, which also stars Vin Diesel. This is a chance to do something totally different and we know that Sam has a history with Outlander already — after all, the final stretch of season 3 filmed in and around Cape Town!

Sam also talks about one of his favorite places in Scotland, which of course left us visiting Google Maps to check it out ourselves.
