The Sinner season 2 video: Carrie Coon discusses Vera Walker

Here, you can see Carrie discuss who Vera is and the role that she has in the town — she is a part of a specific community within the small town that season 2 is set. Yet, this particular group doesn’t exactly have the best relationship with everyone else in the town. There’s a good bit of conflict and tension there and that is something that we will see play out.
Perhaps more importantly though, season 2 will feature the relationship between Vera and Julian, who is the little boy who is accused of poisoning his parents. We’re going to get a chance during this season to understand what went on with him, including whether or not he is truly guilty of anything. There is a lot of mystery that needs to be explored here and we really hope that the show dives into the relationship between these two. Carrie claims that Vera wants to look after Julian and care for him … but that may mean a number of different things. Given that there is still so much mystery around her as a fixture on this show, we’re not 100% clear just yet if she can really be trusted.
Expect many powerful moments this season featuring Vera alongside Ambrose, who will be leading the investigation into the murder case.
