Sharp Objects episode 4 preview: Camille’s new revelations

Want to know what’s ahead on Sharp Objects episode 4? There’s that classic expression of “the plot thickens,” and we do think that this is exactly what you can expect to see here. Camille is going to dig further into the case with the help of Richard and John, and what she learns could shake up her perception as to what’s going on.

Could there be a few happy moments in the episode? We don’t know that we would say that per se, but we do think that there is going to be an opportunity to understand more of Wind Gap’s culture. Through this, though, there could be some unexpected surprises. Oftentimes, people show more of their true nature when their guard is down and that is certainly something that could unfold over the course of this hour.

Below, the Sharp Objects episode 4 synopsis offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

Camille agrees to show Richard some of Wind Gap’s crime scenes, though the tour opens up old wounds. Meanwhile, Alan confronts Adora about her sharing confidences with Chief Vickery, who is concerned about the Crellins hosting the annual “Calhoun Day” attended by Wind Gap’s youth; and, fired from his job at Preaker Farms, John shares off-the-record revelations with Camille that raise fresh concerns for her.

In the end, what we’re just hoping to see in Sharp Objects episode 4 is more of the slow-and-subtle build. We don’t think that the HBO series is going to rush resolution on this case and that’s a good thing. You need to understand how the pieces come into play and, beyond that, you also need to understand how all of them impact Camille. Basically, we need more great performances via Amy Adams.
