CBS 2018 fall premiere dates: Madam Secretary, NCIS, Bull season 3
As per usual with all of the other fall premiere-date articles we do, all times listed are Eastern standard. You can visit our official Premiere Guide for more.
Monday, September 24
8:00 – The Big Bang theory
8:30 – Young Sheldon
9:00 – Magnum PI (new series)
10:00 – Bull
Unlike past years, CBS is not going to be moving The Big Bang Theory around due to NFL programming — it is only going to be in this timeslot for one night before moving to Thursdays on September 27 alongside Young Sheldon. This one-night airing should certainly help Magnum PI, and maybe then Bull after that.
Tuesday, September 25
8:00 – NCIS
9:00 – FBI (new drama)
10:00 – NCIS: New Orleans
Wednesday, September 26
8:00 – Survivor (90-minute premiere)
While not confirmed, this suggests to us that the Big Brother 20 finale will be on this same day at 9:30.
Thursday, September 27
9:00 – Mom
9:30 – Murphy Brown (new comedy)
10:00 – SWAT
Note that this is when The Big Bang Theory is also returning to Thursdays alongside Young Sheldon.
Friday, September 28
8:00 – MacGyver
9:00 – Hawaii Five-0
10:00 – Blue Bloods
Sunday, September 30
8:30 – God Friended Me (new series)
9:30 – NCIS: Los Angeles
Monday, October 1
8:00 – The Neighborhood (new comedy)
8:30 – Happy Together (new comedy)
Wednesday, October 3
9:00 – SEAL Team
10:00 – Criminal Minds
It was originally reported that season 14 of Criminal Minds was premiering on September 26. Clearly, that is not the case.
Sunday, October 7
10:00 – Madam Secretary
As with past seasons, the Sunday start times throughout the fall are going to fluctuate often due to NFL programming. That’s something that we just have to be prepared to deal with moving forward — even if we hate it since it hurts the ratings for various shows.
