Fear the Walking Dead season 4 Comic-Con art teases post-Madison world
There are also a few other things that are especially jarring about both this art and where the series is now, most notably when it comes to simply this: Morgan is at the center of this poster. Who would’ve ever thought one year ago that AMC would be marketing Fear the Walking Dead with a guy formerly from The Walking Dead at the center of the art? It’s nice that we have Alycia Debnam-Carey and also Colman Domingo pretty prominently featured as well, mostly because they are really the only two representatives that we have of the beginning of the show unless Ruben Blades turns up again at some point.
Where we’re going moving into the second half of Fear the Walking Dead season 4 is rather interesting for many different reasons, starting with just the fact that this now feels like a completely different show. It’s a good show, but it’s not altogether same as the one we once watched. There are also many different changes coming structurally to what lies ahead, most notably the fact that there are no longer multiple timelines being interspersed throughout the show. Beyond just that, there is a new threat coming in the form of a massive rainstorm — basically, the series is getting set to remind all of us that there are some larger threats out there than just zombies. We’ve all become as equipped as possible to handle rainstorms but it’s a little bit different in a world like this where so many conveniences of modern life are stripped away from you.
