Code Black season 3 episode 12 preview: The last before finale

There is a good bit to be interested about when it comes to Code Black season 3 episode 12, but there’s also something about it that should make everyone rather sad: Where it falls in relationship to the end of the series. There are only two episodes left after tonight’s installment and they are going to have to check off a number of different boxes.

For starters, there is seeing more of what is coming in terms of the relationship between Ethan and Rox. It felt for a good while as though they could end up together, but then Ethan pushed her away in the midst of all of the serious stuff that was happening with his family. Following that, it feels as though her medical crisis has led to him starting to have some real feelings towards her, but it remains a little too early to tell if this is going to lead to anything that actually resembles a long-lasting relationship.

Below, the Code Black season 3 episode 12 synopsis offers up some additional information in regards to what is coming up next:

“As Night Comes and I’m Breathing” – Willis continues to tend to Rox’s medical needs in San Diego while Leanne and Max’s father search for Ariel. Also, Noa and Mario realize their career choices will mean ending their relationship when Noa wants to accept a position in Philadelphia and Campbell offers Mario the attending position at Angels, on CODE BLACK, Wednesday, July 11 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

When you read all of this, it’s rather easy to see how we are building towards a big ending here. It is possible that Ethan and Rox could end this series together in San Diego, Noa could take a job elsewhere, and everyone could have something that feels both like and ending and also a beginning. No matter what happens, we’re confident that Code Black is going to deliver something emotional and extremely compelling. They’ve done that virtually for the entirety of the season.

As for Ariel, tonight’s episode made it clear why there’s a reason to worry — she’s missing!
