Code Black season 3 episode 13 (finale) spoilers: A plane crash and chaos

Code Black season 3 episode 13 looks to be the final episode of the medical drama. We’re still crossing our fingers for some sort of miraculous 11th-hour resurrection of the series somewhere else, but the point of this article is not necessarily banking on that. Instead, it’s about telling the story that brings us to the very end in “The Business of Saving Lives.” This episode is poised to be big, dramatic, and validate much of what showrunner Michael Seitzman has said in the past about focusing on everything on the field when it comes to the end of the season. This was written to be a possible series-ender, as he and the writers were able to figure out that the show was in some pretty danger going into the finale airing.

“The Business of Saving Lives” – Angels Memorial descends into chaos when a plane crashes into the eighth floor. Also, it is up to Mario to save Noa’s life when she has a car accident. In addition, Willis admits to Rox that he needs her in his life, and the doctors gather in court to support Leanne for her custody hearing, on the series finale of CODE BLACK, Wednesday, July 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Really, this episode has just about everything that you could want in a finale for a medical drama, whether it be some sort of devastating medical event or Ethan making a major admission to Rox that we’ve been waiting for a while. It also makes sense that things get dramatic for Leanne and her attempts to hold onto Ariel, given that the two have been through so much this season already.

While we know that Code Black is a show that does feature many devastating events from start to finish, we do like to think that there is going to be some optimism at the end of the series. “Saving Lives” is, after all, in the title of this episode — the lives that are saved don’t have to be just of the patients.
