Big Brother 20: Meet houseguest JC Monduix, professional dancer

The focus of this particular spotlight is on JC Monduix, a contestant we liked from the get-go just because of his background. He has an interesting history in that he was born in Cuba from a Spanish family, grew up in Miami, and now works as a professional dancer in West Hollywood. He’s 28 years old and different from the typical “casting found me in a bar!” California contestants you typically see. He’s also one of the shortest guy contestants we’ve seen and he does have a pretty big social imprint with thousands of followers in between Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. Most of those are locked, but the YouTube video of him at the bottom of this article lives forever.
Houseguest comparison – He’s a big fan of Josh Martinez (he relates to his Miami upbringing), but he’s inevitably going to draw those Frankie comparisons just because he is a big personality who has a history of performing and often does ridiculous things … like wear a Pikachu costume with yellow paint all over himself.
Have they seen the show before? – There’s an almost 0% he knew of it before casting. This guy feels like someone brought in to bring a different voice and personality. It’s hard to think of him as anything otherwise.
Fun facts – The guy has no problem showing off his body (his Twitter header image is proof of that), he’s 4’8”, and apparently has a very short fuse when it comes to his height. Probably not a great thing when you’re coming on a show like this.
Early assessment – JC seems to have little to no strategy coming into the game and that could help him, but at the same time we think everyone’s going to be just a little bit threatened by his ripped physique. Ultimately, his big undoing is that he’s probably just not going to have a grasp of the strategy needed to win this game and we can actually see him out early. It feels like he’s just going to try to hard or cause fights leading to his quick demise.
