Instinct episode 11 sneak peek: Is Lizzie getting a promotion?

Instinct episode 11 is airing on CBS come Sunday night, and judging from the sneak peeks below, there’s a reasonably good chance that we could be seeing some big changes for Lizzie. As it turns out, there could be a promotion to second-grade detective in the works for her! It’s an exciting proposition for her, even if it does come with more responsibility. It’s something that she seems to be ready for … but will she feels that way if she actually gets the gig? That is something to think about over the course of this episode or until a possible promotion happens.

The good news for Instinct fans is simply this: It does not appear as though what’s going on here is going to impact Dylan and Lizzie’s partnership — one of the reasons why she is close to a promotion is because of the work that the two parties have done as of late. What we really like about this through the lens of the show is that it’s actually giving us a chance to see that characters actually get rewarded for some of their actions — on some shows you see characters put into the same position forever and they barely end up getting some sort of reward for it.

As for the case itself, this is a difficult one for a number of different reasons. For starters, you are going to see Dylan and Lizzie try to figure out what’s causing a number of bombers to blow themselves up. However, it doesn’t appear as though these people are terrorists — the first sneak peek below indicates that the victim the two find is someone who doesn’t have any characteristics of a typical bomber at all. This raises interesting questions, and we hope to see the show try to answer them as the story goes along.
