Poll: Did Lucifer, Shadowhunters, Blue Bloods, Timeless, or another show have best finale?

We’ve officially made it to the other side of May sweeps and with that in mind, isn’t this the perfect time for reflection?

Over the course of the next few days, we’re going to share a number of different polls to get some of your feedback about the best finales, the biggest surprises, and also some of the best moments for some of your favorite ‘ships. Today, the question we’re asking is simple: What show included here had the best finale?

Take a look at some of our favorites from the list below and, at the bottom of the article, be sure to vote for the finale you liked the best!

Voting Rules – Vote however many times you like! Voting is open between now and 1:00 p.m. Pacific time on Thursday, May 31. We’ll announce a winner of the poll then. By voting, you consent to have your vote tabulated in the final result.

I can’t see the poll; what do I do? – If you’re on mobile, scroll to the bottom and click to view the non-AMP version. If you still can’t, try to either clear your cache or use a different browser/device.

The Big Bang Theory – The final episode of season 11 delivered the romantic wedding between Sheldon and Amy that many people were probably looking forward to seeing. Not only that, Mark Hamill turned up!

The Blacklist – We knew that we were going to get answers regarding the duffel bag mystery and the DNA of the bones; however, what we did not expect over the course of the finale was seeing the reveal that we got and then also the way in which Liz Keen learned the truth.

Blue Bloods – Not only did this episode deliver some happy news for Jamie and Eddie, it came about in a sudden, but meaningful way with her getting a chance to sit down at the dinner table for the first time.

Chicago PD – The epic showdown between Voight and Woods left one major character dead, and also forced Hank to confront his past decisions and some of the consequences of them.

Empire – How can you ignore a finale that changed SO much about the series, killed off major multiple characters, and did its best to also give Lucious Lyon a second chance at life?

Law & Order: SVU – An emotionally gripping conclusion to the season that focused on DACA, immigration, and also extreme tragedy as Stone went so far for the sake of justice that it ended up leading to the death of someone dear to him.

Legends of Tomorrow – While the finale ended months ago, we don’t feel altogether comfortable omitting a finale that featured the Legends summoning a giant CGI Beebo to do battle with the Big Bad Mallus. It was one of the most ridiculous, but also entertaining, things that we’ve seen in some time.

Lucifer – Even without the uncertain future of the show, we’d still feel as though the epic showdown between Lucifer and Cain, coupled with some of the magnificent Deckerstar moments, was one of the best things we’ve seen so far this year.

NCIS: Los Angeles – In the two-hour finale we saw undercover work, extensive action, and a dramatic cliffhanger that was bigger than almost any other. How could the show give you more?

NCIS: New Orleans – This went from Pride having to ensure his own freedom to having to stop a horrific attack on the city within the span of two hours. With many familiar faces turning up from the past, this episode showed that sometimes it takes a village to stop a crime.

Shadowhunters – The final episode here featured a dramatic showdown involving Lilith, plus Magnus making an enormous sacrifice for the sake of bringing back Jace.

Timeless – Not only did this finale potentially kill off a main member of the Time Team (for now), but it brought you an action-packed thrill ride where it was clear that neither our heroes, or Rittenhouse, would ever be the same.
