The 100 season 5 episode 5 preview: Will Octavia listen to Clarke’s advice?

When The 100 season 5 episode 5 airs on The CW come seven days’ time and based on the information that we’ve got right now, we are gearing up for an episode that will lead to new obstacles. Octavia is doing what she can in order to presumably help her people but along the way, what she could end up realizing that nothing is precisely as it seems. As some of these characters start to adapt to a new reality (especially since, in some cases, it involves different characters coming together), they will see and learn about some new struggles along the way. Part of this is a growing process, especially since many of these characters probably had no real idea as to what to expect after they first came back together.

Below, The 100 season 5 episode 5 synopsis offers up some more news right now when it comes to what lies ahead with the story:

CHALLENGES – Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) leads her people towards Shallow Valley against the advice of Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy (Bob Morley). Meanwhile, Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) and Abby (Paige Turco) adjust to a new set of challenges. Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Omar Madha directed the episode written by Nick Bragg (#505). Original airdate 5/22/2018.

Are we still fairly early in the season? Sure, but with characters together and with the threat of violence rising, we do think that some of the action is about to heat up in a way in which they really haven’t so far. With a season 6 renewal now officially in the books, one of the other things to be excited about here is the simple fact that the series clearly isn’t going anywhere in the near future.
