The 100 season 5 episode 4 preview: Bob Morley on Clarke, Bellamy’s reunion

The 100

It was a matter of time before Clarke and Bellamy were reunited on The 100 season 5 — moving into episode 4 airing on The CW Tuesday night, we’re getting closer to seeing more of the two characters work around each other. We’re glad that the writers took their time in order to build towards this moment, especially since that is going to make it all the more emotional when it happens.

So how is Bellamy feeling at the moment about the notion of Clarke being alive, especially after years of presuming otherwise? Speaking on this subject further in a new interview with TV Guide, series star Bob Morley had the following to say on this subject:

I think he’s thrilled and overjoyed… But also in the moment he finds out that Clarke’s alive, he also finds out there’s a little girl called Madi who survives as well and that his sister’s in the bunker and no one’s heard from them in six years. So there’s a lot to take on in the end of Episode 3 for Bellamy, but he managed to pull himself together and try to negotiate in order to save Clarke’s life. But yeah, I think he’s probably really thrilled that she’s alive. But also there’s this terrifying fact that there are these other people on the ground that are threatening in their evil force. So right now he’s using his head and being pragmatic and trying to figure out what’s the next best move in a peaceful manner.

Ultimately, patience here really is quite a virtue. There are going to be ways in which to bring everyone together but if Bellamy or anyone else rushes things along, there is a pretty good chance as a result of it that someone could be in grave danger. Consider this an essential part to whatever is coming in the episodes ahead.
