Quantico season 3 episode 2 preview: Ryan Booth goes undercover

Want to see some of what’s coming on Quantico season 3 episode 2? Based on what we’re seeing right now, Ryan Booth is going to have to tackle one of the most difficult situations imaginable. After tonight’s new episode is putting the focus on Alex Parrish, we are going to see on the other side of this an episode that puts the Ryan character into the thick of things. This is a difficult, challenging case for him since he has to infiltrate a group full of hateful, despicable people.

Below, the Quantico season 3 episode 2 synopsis offers up some other news when it comes to some of what lies ahead:

In tracking down the origin of a deadly strain of tuberculosis threatening Americans, Agent Ryan Booth must go undercover and infiltrate a white supremacist organization – an assignment that threatens the life of another member of the team.

In the aftermath of Charlottesville and some of the terrible things that we heard about last year, this is a timely case for pointing out that these organizations do exist and are still causing some terrible things to happen. We absolutely feel for Ryan as a result of this, given that this is the last place that he would rather be.

Hopefully by the time this episode airs we’ll have an even better sense as to precisely how he is going to recover from this situation — and precisely what the show’s performance is going to be in general. We’re hoping that the series will get off to a strong start in the numbers — that’s a way that it can get a season 4 renewal. We do know that the show has some significant hurdles that it is going to have to jump through, with one of the biggest ones being airing in a new timeslot such a long time away from the end of season 2.
