Chicago PD season 5 episode 21 return date: Can Olinsky be saved?
Will any of it work? That’s a good question, but we cannot say we have an answer that is altogether hopeful given that some of the walls are starting to close in on this character. He doesn’t have many options and when you’re starting to rely on favors, there is a pretty good sense that you are fighting somewhat of a losing battle.
Below, the Chicago PD season 5 episode 21 synopsis does offer up some additional insight on the subject of what’s coming:
05/02/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) go undercover to prevent military-grade weapons from hitting the street. Meanwhile, Voight (Jason Beghe) calls in a favor as a last-ditch effort to clear Olinsky’s (Elias Koteas) name for Bingham’s murder.
One of the other things to obviously worry about here is the fact that we are so close to the end of the road. There’s only one more episode to come after this one and we personally imagine that the Chicago PD finale this year is going to be bigger than any other. Woods has been relentless in his attempts to take down Intelligence and it seems as though he’s got an inside track to doing just that. Some of these final stories are going to offer up a chance for us to learn if he is successful, and to also see if there are any other sort of cliffhangers to be aware of.
At the moment, though, it feels like a big understatement to say that we’re concerned — nonetheless, we very much are for the future of both Voight and Olinsky in particular.
