Homeland season 7 episode 11 carries with it the title of “All In,” but another simple way to look at this may be the possible end of an era. Is it possible that the Keane Administration could be over so soon after it first began? Things have started to crumble from the very beginning as it started to become increasingly clear over time that this was not a group who was altogether equipped to run a country, let alone another large-scale institution at the same time.

Below, the Homeland season 7 episode 11 synopsis gives you a small sense of what is coming up:

Saul’s mission is a go. The clock ticks on the Keane administration.

More so than any details handed out by Showtime (let’s be honest — they’re not in the business of giving out a whole lot of information), the biggest thing that you can expect to see within this episode is some positive forward movement. This should, in turn, bring you a little bit closer to understanding what is coming up in the finale. If you are interested in closure this episode should offer up a small sense of that … but not too much, given that there is already a season 8 on the docket over at Showtime. Whatever happens over the finale should serve in part to set up some of the events of the season to come. (As for whether or not there is going to be a season 8, that’s just something we will have to figure out in due time.)

All in all, what “All In” tells us is that for this particular chapter of the story, Carrie and Saul are putting everything on the line and they don’t have any intention at all of holding back. Let’s just hope that it produces some results for them.
