The Blacklist season 5 episode 20: The Nicholas T. Moore story
What is so significant about this episode? For starters, this episode is the first one airing after “Ian Garvey: Conclusion.” For the final episodes of this season, the mystery will be moving just beyond Garvey. Liz Keen also seems to be acutely aware that Reddington has an enormous secret; however, it’s not altogether clear how to resolve it. Some of the clues may be ultimately traced here to a young girl, and this one person could be the catalyst who turns the tide for much of the remainder of this story. Seeing how this all plays out should be one of the most exciting things about the end of the season … especially since whatever Reddington’s secret is will most likely change the entire series as we know it.
Below, the Blacklist season 5 episode 20 synopsis gives you a little bit more of a sense as to precisely what could be coming up:
05/02/2018 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : The mysterious appearance of an unidentified young girl sends Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force on a hunt to discover her connection to the secret Red (James Spader) is hiding. However, when her family steps in to protect their own secrets, the investigation turns into a race to save the little girl’s life.
Basically, what you will see within this episode is Liz realizing that in order to learn what she wants, she may have to complete another series of steps first. Nothing ever comes easy for the FBI task force and this episode will prove that once more. Remember that, at the end of the season, we’re gearing up for one of the biggest cliffhangers we’ve seen to date. All of this story should perfectly build towards a shocking, devastating, and hopefully very exciting finale.
As for who Nicholas T. Moore is, it’s pretty likely it’s a Blacklister. Beyond that, NBC is being pretty darn coy.
