Scorpion season 4 episode 21 video: Walter has ‘lying disease’
Coming up on Scorpion season 4 episode 21, be prepared to see Walter O’Brien right in the middle of a significant ethical dilemma: Does he continue to lie to Paige about going to the lecture with Florence, or does he realize instead that the truth will set him free?
If Walter was pretty much anyone else, or had normal friends who were like anyone else, then he would realize that telling her is the better option. While there is a reasonably good chance that this could cause her a reasonable amount of pain, at the same time it’s probably for the best that he find a way to get on the other side of that. The sneak peek that CarterMatt has for you below features Walter in the midst of a heated debate on this subject with Happy and Toby, but unfortunately nobody among the three of them seems to be saying precisely what it is that he needs to hear: The longer he keeps the lie, the more it’s going to hurt everyone and potentially ruin his relationship for good. There is already insecurity there because of what happened with the dream and Florence during the Christmas episode. If it feels like there is something deeper going on here things could start to spiral out of control beyond where they are right now.
The thing that makes this entire situation a little more dire is simply this: There is only one more episode left beyond Monday’s installment! That’s not a lot of time to figure this out, and it does leave us very concerned over the future of Waige as a whole. Is it possible that this season ends with the two characters not together? We can certainly imagine that this would spawn a lot of anger, especially when you think about the show’s uncertain future at the moment. There is no guarantee of a season 5 and seeing the two end the series apart would cause #TeamScorpion tears all over the world. Hopefully, if the lie comes out, it comes out early enough that it can be repaired.
