Bull season 2 filming wraps for Michael Weatherly, cast
In a new post on Twitter (which CarterMatt has for you to see below) 1st Assistant Director Ann C. Salzer confirmed that the Michael Weatherly series is officially done for the time being … but hopefully not forever. As of right now Bull is pretty much a lock for a season 3 renewal and it’s mostly up to whenever CBS wants to make a decision to bring it back. Typically, the announce a mass renewal for many of their series all at one time and we think that they are going to do the same thing here with Bull, some of the NCIS shows, Hawaii Five-0, and others. That should happen well before the upfront presentation in May.
CBS has not released many details at the moment in regards to how Bull season 2 will conclude, but if we were to have our say on it, we would argue that the best thing that the writers could do is continue to test Bull in terms of the sort of clients he works with — potentially while also throwing some more hurdles into his personal life. For the most part, one of the reasons why Bull is able to function so well is because he doesn’t really have a personal life. He detaches himself from it and focuses so much of his energy on the job. Could something happen to cause him to rethink his priorities a little bit? That could be fun to explore. Beyond just that, it would be nice to see some interesting storylines explored with members of the TAC, especially since this season in particular was really great in diving more into the likes of Marissa, Cable, Chunk, and others. We know so much more about them than we did at any point back in the first season and we love learning about them.

The Bull season 2 finale is going to air in May, and potentially by the end of this month CBS should be some more details as to what to expect.
