Instinct episode 3 preview: Meet Lizzie’s sister Katie

On Instinct episode 3 airing on CBS in one week’s time, you’re going to get an opportunity to see a number of exciting things — including an opportunity to see Lizzie’s sister Katie for the first time. With many other shows, you do often have to wait a long time before you get a chance to meet the family of some of the main characters. In this case, we’re rather glad that there isn’t all that much ofa delay. This allows you the chance to dive into some more personal stuff rather quickly and beyond that,

Below, the Instinct episode 3 synopsis below offers up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead:

“Secrets and Lies” – The murder of a young man who recently left his family’s religious community leads Dylan and Lizzie to a series of possible suspects, including a short-tempered photographer and a mysterious girl with amnesia. Also, Lizzie’s younger sister, Katie (Genevieve Angelson), unexpectedly drops by for a visit, on INSTINCT, Sunday, April 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The case at the center of this episode itself should be interesting just because there are so many different religious communities out there that they can draw inspiration from. Some out there like Scientology have become a little more well-known over time thanks to Leah Remini and others. Meanwhile, there are also some that still remain buried in the catacombs. It’s somewhat horrifying to think about, but it’s not altogether crazy to think that there could be some people out there so desperate to keep a secret that they are willing to kill in order to make it happen.

If there is one thing that we’re hoping for, it’s that this presents an interesting discussion on secret religions that doesn’t just trust on the tropes. The more that the show can feature a wide array of different wrinkles within this case, the happier we’re probably going to be as a viewer in the end. Let’s hope that they continue to find some ways to surprise.
