Chicago PD season 5 episode 19 return date: What’s left to tell?
Let’s kick things off here with what is almost certainly bad news to many people out there: You are going to be waiting for a while to see more of the crime series. Yet, herein lies some of the good news — you will see Chicago PD back with a run of new episodes starting in April. To be specific, we’re looking towards Wednesday, April 11. Unfortunately, there is not exactly a whole lot of information out there about what is going to be coming up in this episode just yet, but signs point to this as the return date.

As for what we imagine will be coming up the remainder of the season, it seems pretty clear that the Denny Woods storyline is going to keep building as we start to see what the reverberations of his investigation could be on both Voight and Intelligence. One of the things that we do love about this storyline at the moment more so than virtually anything else is that it’s really touching on all sorts of pain. For Woods, a big part of his drive is the advancement of his career, but he also may feel a little betrayed over some of the things that Voight is accused of. He also wants to probably inflict some level of pain on him over the death of his own daughter earlier this season.
Meanwhile, at this point we also think that Voight and Intelligence are in a position where they may be ready to fight back in a way that they were not able to before. Voight knows now that some of the other members of his unit are being put under the microscope and he’s super protective of them. Meanwhile, some of them in turn are protective of him. Things are complicated, and we imagine that they’re only going to get messier. Voight promised that he’d turn himself in before letting anyone else on Intelligence get in trouble … but will he stick to that promise?
