Bull season 2 episode 19: Gotham, House of Cards actor Nathan Darrow to guest star

When Bull season 2 episode 19 airs on CBS come April 3, it will do so with an installment called “A Redemption” that will be by and large about one thing: A character trying to move forward and live a better life. We’ve all made mistakes in life — yet, many of these same mistakes are probably a little bit less significant than the ones made by Jim Grayson, the character who is at the center of Jason Bull’s latest case.

“A Redemption” – Bull helps Jim Grayson (Nathan Darrow), a respectable family man who was arrested for changing his identity after being the unwitting getaway driver in a fatal robbery years ago. Bull hopes they can convince the jury that Jim has redeemed himself for his past misdeeds by living an upstanding life for years, on BULL, Tuesday, April 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There’s a good chance that you know Nathan Darrow already, whether it be his stint on House of Cards or his recent series of episodes as Mr. Freeze over Gotham. Here, he is playing a character who is certainly more grounded and someone who is out to prove that he has moved forward and is now a good man. Yet, there are certain crimes and ghosts from the past that cannot be forgotten about, so this is the conflict at the center of this episode: Whether or not some of Jim’s past misdeeds are so bad that he will never be able to move on past them.

On the surface, it doesn’t appear that Bull season 2 episode 19 serves a larger purpose than just taking on the case of the week. With that being said, sometimes synopses don’t give everything away and there are a few issues still bubbling underneath the surface.
