Once Upon a Time favorite Rebecca Mader lands new ABC pilot
According to a report from Deadline, Mader has signed on to appear in the NBC comedy pilot Like Family alongside Brandon Mychal Smith as the character Camille. She is a woman who is doing everything that she can to keep her reputation strong and to keep people thinking that she is as young and beautiful as ever. She also has a number of different projects on the go, whether they be a blog, some candles, or some friends.
Smith plays a character named Artie on the prospective series who forms a close both with someone named Aubrey (who has yet to be cast) while in foster care — it’s a bond that lasts until adulthood, but at that point things start to become so much complicated.
More than anything else, it’s great to have an opportunity to see Mader back on television so soon after Once Upon a Time — at least potentially. While Like Family hasn’t been officially ordered to series just yet, it’s nice to see actors like both her and Josh Dallas back on board some other projects so soon — after all, we don’t want to see either one of them gone from television for all that long!

Hopefully, we’re going to also see some more insight when it comes to some other people from Once Upon a Time joining some other shows in the future — don’t we all want some chances to see some other work for Lana Parrilla, Robert Carlyle, Ginnifer Goodwin, Sean Maguire, Colin O’Donoghue, Jennifer Morrison, and virtually everyone else?
