Lucifer season 3 episode 17 preview: Lucifer, meet pop music

When Lucifer season 3 episode 17 airs on Fox come Monday, March 12, the Fox series is going to be effectively doing something that we consider to be one of our favorite things: Enveloping this character in utter ridiculousness. There’s something so fun about the idea of throwing Lucifer into a world of false idols, hero worship, and other things of the sort that probably have some sort of connotation to his past. Yet, there is nobody at the center of this story who is a god. They are all just mere mortals but are clearly finding something spiritual in following a hit artist.

However, on this episode there may be a set of circumstances that thrust this artist down into what is more of a desperate position, one that leave them scrambling. This is going to be potentially how Lucifer ends up getting involved in the case in the first place:

When a superstar singer’s life is threatened, the team is thrust into the world of big-ticket stadium shows, crazed fans and divas, giving Lucifer a run for his money. Meanwhile, Charlotte tries to help Linda and Maze repair their friendship in the all-new “Let Pinhead Sing!” episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, March 12.

As for how Linda and Maze can path things up, it really doesn’t feel as though that is going to be an altogether easy task for many reasons. For starters, there is already so much conflict between the two of them and if there’s one thing Maze especially doesn’t like, it’s being left out on the loop on something. That is precisely what happened when it comes to Amenadiel and with that, we imagine that it is going to take a little bit of time for whatever wounds are present to heal. Let’s just see if Charlotte can figure out some sort of way in which to ease some of the tension that could be present between the two.
