Gotham season 4 episode 15 spoilers: Mr. Freeze returns; Selina’s guilt

Gotham season 4 episode 15

Gotham season 4 episode 15 is going to reiterate one of the things that is rather great about the show — the recurring carousel of villains. Some of them are regulars and you get to see them fairly often. Meanwhile, others pop in every now and then. The series has been committed to that even to the point of recasting a couple of different characters over time like Ivy and Scarecrow, who you will see again a little bit later in the season.

For this particular upcoming episode (airing on March 22), you are going to see the return of a character in Mr. Freeze who we are absolutely psyched to have back on the series once more. He’s someone we’ve gotten a little bit of backstory on to date, but we also do still wonder if he’s going to rise to power anytime soon in a way that feels reminiscent of the comics. Ever since the first few episodes really establishing him as a threat he’s felt a little bit more pushed into the background. He’s in the same league as Firefly or Szasz in that department — important, but not the recipient of a lot of screen time.

Just in case you want some more insight regarding what is coming, the Gotham season 4 episode 15 synopsis has some information for you below:

Bullock and Gordon try to track down someone who is key in Sofia’s control over Gotham. Meanwhile, Penguin, Lee and Nygma enlist an unlikely ally as they seek revenge, and Selina asks Bruce for a favor to help rid her of her guilt over Ivy in the all-new “A Dark Knight: The Sinking Ship The Grand Applause” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, March 22 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

By the end of this episode one of the things we’re expecting to learn is where Selina is going to stand when it comes to Ivy — after all, there are some pretty clear difference between the two parties at this point. With Ivy, for example, you’re talking about someone consumed with power and also intent on cultivating the perfect city for herself. Meanwhile, Selina is a little more chaotic in her alignment. She’s good when she needs to be and bad when it serves her. It makes sense that she would struggle a little bit more with what is asked of her.
