Good Girls episode 2 preview: Another robbery lies ahead

Good Girls episode 2

Following tonight’s series premiere, are you interested in checking out Good Girls episode 2? We are getting to the point now where the series is going to start to throw its main trio into even more trouble. They may execute a robbery in the premiere, but did you really think that they would stop there? This is a show that’s going to rely on a couple of different things — character development and escalation. Things are going to get so much worse before they start to get better. It’s a little bit similar to another series in TNT’s Claws in that regard.

Below, the Good Girls episode 2 synopsis offers up a little bit more information when it comes to what’s coming up:

03/05/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Monday) : The women struggle to come up with the money they owe the gang — which, in this case, means robbing yet again. Meanwhile, Annie’s (Mae Whitman) fight for custody takes a major hit, Beth (Christina Hendricks) tries to navigate life as a single parent and Ruby’s (Retta) concerns for Sara’s (Lidya Jewett) health escalate.

What sort of series is Good Girls ultimately going to be? We do think that this is one of the big questions that this episode could start to answer. We could have a chance to learn a little more information in regards to what the tone of the series is and also what the long-term stakes will be. By the time that this episode (entitled “Mo Money Mo Problems”) airs, there’s also going to be a chance to examine the ratings and see if there is some sort of possible future here. We do think that the cast should help to boost some of the series’ ratings; to go along with that, it has a great lead-in courtesy of The Voice and it’s different from almost everything else that is out there. It’s got a reasonable shot, but like we said, momentum is key. Without enough creativity, this is a premise that could sputter out.
