TV Revivals final round: Dark Matter vs. White Collar vs. Hannibal
Are you ready for the TV Revivals finally round? We hope so, given that it is officially here! We’ve got three shows in Dark Matter, White Collar, and Hannibal who are squaring off now for a chance to be declared champion for the year. While we’ve been doing this article series for the past three years this marks the first time that we’ve added a voting component to the mix. Hopefully that makes things all the more fun as we close out the month — also, we hope that this sets the stage for some more promotion for the shows that need to come back on the air in the future.
At the bottom of this article is a poll for you to share which show you want to see return! Voting for these three shows remains open from now until 4:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. Pacific) on Wednesday, February 28. This will help to close off this month until we get into TV Madness in March. (Note that if you are trying to vote on mobile and cannot see the poll, be sure to click to view the non-AMP version of the page.)
Dark Matter – The former Syfy series ended its run in the summer of 2017, and unfortunately it did so with an enormous cliffhanger that is causing us to never actually see just how this story would have come to a close. That’s super-unfortunate since it does feel as though there is so much more story that could have been told. Dark Matter was fun, imaginative, and different in a space-travel genre that is getting a little more play now than it once was.
White Collar – Unlike the two other shows mentioned here, White Collar does actually have the benefit of getting a full series finale; yet, the story for Matt Bomer and company was left open enough that there is absolutely room for the writers to explore more in the future if they really would like to. We’d love to see White Collar return to USA with a series of movies in the future, potentially to get the same sort of treatment that Psych did.
Hannibal – It’s coming off of a big win in the third round, which just ended. Will the once-canceled NBC show dominate in this category as well? This is absolutely the most competition that it’s faced in the tournament. Like with Dark Matter, it is hard to really specify what the future for this property is — we just want to continue to send a message that the great work that was once done is absolutely not forgotten.
Which one of these shows do you want to see revived? We now send that over to you!
