Jane the Virgin season 4 episode 11 return date: Eva Longoria guest starring
Unfortunately, the bad news at the moment is pretty clear — we just came back from a pretty-lengthy hiatus, and we’re now being told that we’re going to have to wait again. The next new episode of the show is airing on The CW come Friday, March 2, and it is going to prove interest for many different reasons — especially if you love Eva Longoria. The former Desperate Housewives star is going to be playing a role that she is super-familiar with (herself), but she will be taking it on in a comedic setting.
For some more news, be sure to check out the Jane the Virgin season 4 episode 11 synopsis:
Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is ready to move on from the Marbella and pursue writing full time, but an unexpected development forces her to consider returning to her teaching roots. When Jane applies for a job as an adjunct professor, she finds herself seeing her former professor, Jonathan Chavez (guest star Adam Rodriguez), in a different light. Rafael (Justin Baldoni) thinks he has found a way to get back in the real estate game and looks to Jane for support. Meanwhile, Rogelio (Jaime Camil) courts Eva Longoria to star in the American remake of the Passions of Santos. Yael Grobglas, Andrea Navedo and Ivonne Coll also star. Gina Lamar directed the episode written by Merigan Mulhern. Original airdate 3/2/2018.
One of the funnier things about Longoria guest-starring on Jane the Virgin is that this is not the first time in which she has appeared as herself on a scripted series; she previously did this on Devious Maids, a series in which she executive-produced on Lifetime a few years back. In between everything going on with Rogelio and Eva, it definitely does seem as though there is quite a bit going on with Jane and Rafael career-wise. So long as you enjoy a wide array of different storylines, it does feel like you’ve got quite a bit to look forward to here!
