The best ‘Suits ‘ships ever: Darvey, Machel, and more
Over the course of this article, we’re excited to dive into this subject and for good reason — Suits will be coming back later this spring and with some new episodes, but it’s also the farewell for Mike and Rachel. What matter time to discuss ‘ships than while they are still on the show?
If you look below, you can see some of our picks for some of the best Suits ‘ships out there — to go along with that, we’ve added a poll for you to pick your own favorite! Feel free to vote however often you’d like between now and Wednesday, February 7 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. Pacific). That’s around we will announce the results.
Now, let’s get to sharing some of the ‘ships.
Mike & Rachel – We have to start with them, given that “Machel” is the series’ longest-running couple and their relationship has been a huge driving force of the series. Rachel helped to make Mike Ross a much better person and further cemented even more of Rachel’s own drive and passion. We’re going to miss Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle, but we’re hoping that this series is going to allow the two characters a chance to go out on a high note.
Donna & Harvey – Now, we turn to one of the other beloved couples on the series in “Darvey.” Of all the ‘ship names out there for Suits this one is the most prominent, in part because the writers have dangled this carrot over all of us for so long. Now, we’re finally starting to get near the point where Darvey can (finally) come to fruition … or so we hope. There are obviously still some other issues that need to be addressed, with Harvey and Paula being one of them.
Paula & Harvey – This obviously brings us to the relationship that Harvey is currently in, one that does have its supporters — though, at least per internet standards, it’s not anywhere near as popular as Darvey. We know that there’s been some controversy about Harvey dating his former therapist but let’s put things this way: Is this even on the top-five list of most controversial things that characters on Suits have done? We don’t think so.
Harvey & Scottie – This relationship was more than just an excuse to bring Abigail Spencer onto the show — the two characters did have a great connection for a while and we know that there are some who seem them more as a match and Darvey more as friends.
Louis & Katrina – While there may be some other Louis Litt ‘ships out there (we’ll admit that we came close to ‘shipping Louis and Donna a couple of times, especially after that one theater-based episode), Katrina seems to be the perfect partner for him … or at least she did. Their relationship is all sorts of messy right now but we have a feeling it’s not over.
Jessica & Jeff – While Jessica may be heading over to the potential spin-off at present, we do still consider her a part of this world and loved the relationship between these two characters. We know that D.B. Woodside is a regular over on Lucifer but we hope there’s still a way for him to turn in an appearance or two on this show.
Mike & Harvey – Whether you love them as a bromance or a potential romance, there’s a ton to love here either way. “Marvey” is one of the most-popular pairings out there online; why wouldn’t be? Anytime there are two characters on a show this dynamic and with this much charisma between them, there’s obviously going to be people rooting for something more to happen between them.
