MacGyver season 2 episode 16 return date: When are Lucas Till, cast back?
Unsurprisingly, you are going to be forced to wait for a good while to see some of what’s next coming on the air. As of right now, the return date looks to be Friday, March 2, which makes a certain degree of sense given that prior to this date, there are going to be a number of repeats due to the Winter Olympics. CBS doesn’t need to air against this, given that there are more than enough Fridays left before the end of the broadcast TV season to let the remainder of their MacGyver episodes come on the air.
Basically, here’s the situation now that MacGyver is in the rest of the season. We reported recently that the Lucas Till-led series had been picked up for an extra episode, which brings that total to 23. CBS could opt to air new episodes from March 2 until May 4 (with a break for NCAA Basketball) and they wouldn’t have to have another significant hiatus anywhere in between there. Just note that this is just a speculative schedule, since it’s far too early to know one way or another what the network is planning. The biggest thing that we just want is for there to be a good stretch of time for the momentum for this season to grow and expand.
Also, we’d love for there to be some other interesting arcs to explore coming up. Are we going to get to meet Mac’s father? That’s one thing that does make us curious, as does seeing the development of Bozer and Riley’s relationship. Even if they are not together romantically, they remain two of our favorite characters and we love the two sharing time together.
Then, there is also the potential of a new villain. While we do love Murdoc very much (who doesn’t?), you always want to keep things fresh and continuing to bring in new threats is a good way to do that. We know that the Coltons are returning later this season and it’s absolutely possible that there could be some other new faces turning up, as well.
