Taken season 2 episode 4: The future ahead for Clive Standen series?

What lies ahead on Taken season 2 episode 4? That future is somewhat ambiguous, mostly because of the fact that NBC hasn’t released all that much about this episode at the moment.

Basically, one of the only things that is known about this episode at the moment is simply this: We’ve got one more episode to go before the arrival of the Winter Olympics. Following the Games in South Korea, the series will be back in early March, where presumably there are going to be new episodes for the remainder of the season. That’s where in some ways the rubber is going to be meeting the road when it comes to the series’ long-term future.

For now, we know this: Taken could use a shot of ratings adrenaline moving into its main stretch of the season. It is averaging to date a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic; we were hoping to see the show reach a 0.6 or a 0.7, and it probably needs to get back up to this to have a great shot at coming back for another season … which we certainly want to see happen. For starters, we think that Clive Standen is fantastic, and he’s got a pretty great, electric cast all around him this season. With the right stories and the right amount of publicity, the show can ultimately get there.

One thing that’s somewhat interesting beyond just the show’s schedule is the fact that air dates for some of these episodes keep changing. Starting tonight, Taken is operating on a somewhat-strange model in which some of the episodes are airing somewhat out of order. Hopefully, things don’t get a little bit confusing as a result of that. (We doubt that they will, given that this is a series with, by and large, a number of procedural elements.)

The promo – Based on what we saw tonight, we can tell you that at the center of this episode will be a possible assassination plot involving the President. Clearly, the stakes have never been higher for any mission.
