Timeless: What could happen for Lucy during Season 2?
Lucy’s mother’s involvement – In the season 1 finale, Lucy painfully learned her mother has been a part of the Rittenhouse organization from the beginning. So we can probably expect this to change her relationship with her mother. Not too mention Lucy’s main goal has been to bring her sister back and it appears as though her mother knows she was erased from time.
However, despite this setback it could make Lucy even more committed to destroying the organization for good. We always knew Lucy has on the good side, but was she truly there for the right reasons? Her sister, Amy’s disappearance never sat well with Lucy and it was always knowing that she needed to find her sister that drove her during every mission given to her. So could her mother’s big reveal finally be the driving force to get Lucy truly on board to stop Rittenhouse? We hope so.
Flynn and Lucy’s alliance – At the end of season 1 Lucy and Flynn were seeking help and fighting on the same team. Lucy even revealed to Flynn who was behind killing his family and revealed another way to stop Rittenhouse. However, Flynn was arrested by Agent Christopher shortly after. Despite that, will Lucy find a way to get Flynn out of jail because it appears as though she sees him as an ally, rather than an enemy. We are guessing that we may see the two of the working together more in season 2. They may still disagree on things, but we don’t think the team will be chasing him as often.
Lucy’s knowledge – Lucy was brought onto the team partly because of her knowledge of history. In season 1 we often saw her use her knowledge to help the team whether it was in a serious or funny situation and we would like to see more of that. We want to see her lead the team with her ideas and knowledge of the time periods they travel to. In addition, we want to know more about her and not just her family’s ties to Rittenhouse. We feel as though there’s still so much to learn about her and we can’t wait to find out more.
