Scorpion season 4 episode 14 video: The Walter – Florence aftermath
At the end of this past episode, it certainly seemed as though she was pretty upset over hearing about Walter’s dream … even though that is all it is right now. It is a little bit worrisome for Paige (understandably) that Walter is dreaming about locking lips with someone else. Yet, at the same time he’s not showing any real sign of wanting to be with her over his current girlfriend. He’s just as confused about the dream as anyone else?
In the new Scorpion season 4 episode 14 sneak peek below, you can actually see that Walter does have some questions for Paige regarding the dream, at least in terms of whether or not she is as okay about it as she claims. At some point before this moment in the episode, Paige must tell him that she’s not altogether concerned about the dream. Yet, she’s also showing some hostility towards Florence in the aftermath of hearing about it.
The fun that comes with this whole situation is largely the idea of a role reversal. Typically on this show it is Walter who needs to be told about his emotions and how to cope in awkward situations. Yet, in this instance it’s Walter who seems to be questioning whether or not Paige is handling a situation in the best possible manner. It’s okay for her to feel threatened or jealous — many people would in her situation and that doesn’t make her petty.

What really matters most here is that there isn’t much in the way of tangible evidence that Walter wants to be with Florence or the other way around. It’s possible that we could see Florence be the target of another character’s affections a little bit later this season, so we don’t actually anticipate that this is going to be a major part of the story for a significant period of time. Walter and Paige can work through whatever issue they have and move forward.
