Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 11 return date revealed

According to ABC, the fairy-tale series is going to return after a lengthy hiatus on Friday, March 2 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The reason for the long hiatus is pretty clear to us: ABC likes to air Once Upon a Time episodes in batches and they want no part at all in airing opposite the Winter Olympics (which is a smart decision and one that many other networks are making as well). This show also has a long filming and post-production process, and the crew behind the scenes needs some time to get the remaining episodes together.
When Once Upon a Time season 7 episode 11 does air, it looks as though you’re going to be seeing yet again a very different world. According to TVLine, you will see more of Zelena’s daughter Robin — now an adult — and it also seems as though Rebecca Mader is going to be sticking around for a little while. Even though she may not be a series regular on this season Zelena clearly does still have a role to play on this series. In general Once Upon a Time benefits heavily from having her on the show as the relationship between Zelena and Regina has become one of the most interesting stories on the series over the years, and with some characters gone at this point including Emma, Snow, Charming, and the original Captain Hook (we’ve now got Rogers), it does benefit us to get as many different characters from the first several seasons of the show aboard as possible.
As for the future of Once Upon a Time beyond the second half of the season, we want to believe that a season 8 is possible. Unfortunately, we’re not altogether optimistic and we do hope that, one way or another, the writers have time to come up with a fitting season/series finale in the event that ABC decides to end it. This is a show that is so important to so many different people (including us!) that it deserves a chance to have a fitting conclusion.
