Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 12: The family visit

Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 12

After tonight’s excellent two-hour event, what’s coming on Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 12? Let’s just say we’re super-excited for an episode for the first time in a while. There have been moments where this season has been a little flat, but we’ve got two straight blindsides and things are on the cusp of getting a little bit crazy.

Here is where things seem to stand now entering episode 12. We’ve got seemingly Ashley, Devon, and Lauren still running the show. They technically have their double-agent Ben still in their corner, but there are questions aplenty around Mike. He and Ryan now both may need to realize the value in working together. They don’t have too many other options if they want to make it to the end of the game, but even if they do decide to work together they’re on the outside looking in. Ashley, Devon, Lauren, and Ben are running things for now — Ben may be needed in this alliance now for one more vote to secure the numbers. Ryan doesn’t have an idol anymore and as a result of that, he and Chrissy both may be on a scramble to see if there is another.

As for what else is coming in this episode, get ready for a family visit! These are always emotional and we have a feeling that this one will be, as well. It could also be transformative for the rest of the season. Seeing family members can often cause players to rethink their standing in the game in addition to who they want to go to the end with. Sometimes on Survivor, it is easy to get caught up in the illusions that these friends out there in the game are going to be your friends for life, but that is not actually the case. These people may be your friends, but your family and your future at home need to matter the most. This is a time for everyone to center on that and keep your eyes focused on the prize.
