SEAL Team episode 9 return date for David Boreanaz, cast

SEAL Team episode 9

Interested in checking out the SEAL Team episode 9 return date? While we’ve got a new episode tonight, next week the show is taking a break, so be prepared to wait.

David Boreanaz and the rest of the show’s cast is going to be heading back to CBS with new episodes starting on Wednesday, December 6, and the first episode back is entitled “Rolling Dark.” There’s going to be a few fun moments in here (like Clay trying to get accustomed to Jason’s unit), but then there’s also going to be some intense ones. After all, at the forefront of this mission is going to be a rescue mission, one that involves having to evade multiple special forces. To make matters all the more challenging we’re also going to see Jason and his team in a new place. Consider this yet another reminder that when you work with the SEALs you have to be prepared for almost any environment that’s thrown at you. If you’re not, there’s a chance you’re not getting out of there alive. This show is all about establishing high stakes and celebrating heroes; we’ll see if this next episode manages to fulfill both purposes.

Here’s the full SEAL Team episode 9 synopsis, per CBS:

“Rolling Dark” – Jason and the SEAL team must rescue a Russian scientist and his wife and bring them across the Afghanistan border to safety as Chinese and Russian Special Forces close in, intent on stopping them. Also, Clay endures his first day with Jason’s unit, on SEAL TEAM, Wednesday, Dec. 6 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

At the moment, we’re feeling much more optimistic about the future of SEAL Team than we once were. There was a time in which we considered this show to be heavily on the cancellation bubble for a wide array of reasons, with one of the biggest ones being simply that the ratings weren’t quite up to snuff given where it was in the season. It did good enough to get a full-season order, but that’s not always verification or validation that a longer future is going to exist beyond that. This luckily happened to change when we had a chance to see the ratings for the past couple of episodes. SEAL Team has figured out a way to recover from some of its recent efforts and level off in their numbers; with that, we’re a little bit more optimistic about its future than we were previously and that’s a very good thing.
