Scorpion season 4 episode 10 spoilers: Cabe’s trial is almost here

When Scorpion season 4 episode 10 airs on CBS a little bit later this month, the show is going to touch on a key storyline. By that, we mean of course Cabe’s future outside of prison. Does he really have one? The specter of Mark Collins has haunted him for most of the season — yes, technically Mark is still alive, but he’s MIA and his status is proving to be a major thorn in Cabe’s side. The longer he remains missing, the harder it becomes for Cabe to stay out of prison. Locking up him again would equate to righting what the powers-that-be seem to consider his greatest wrong doing.

We know that on Scorpion season 4 episode 10 the team will get closer to figuring out where Collins is — whether or not they find him remains to be seen! What this episode will bring to you for certain is a story featuring Walter O’Brien struggling over how his longtime colleague and mentor-of-sorts could be separated from him:

“Crime Every Mountain” – As Cabe’s trial looms over Team Scorpion, a simple case goes sideways when they help a father and his daughter whose plane crashes nearby. Also, Paige helps Walter navigate his feelings about Cabe’s possible future in prison, on SCORPION, Monday, Nov. 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Before the start of Scorpion we have a feeling that Walter did a good job isolating himself from his feelings. Thanks to Paige, and the near-death experiences that he’s had pretty constantly with this team, we know that some of that is starting to change. It’s been lovely seeing him evolve over time, but as a result of that we imagine that there are a few situations that are coming for him that could feel difficult. After all, we suspect that he is not going to know what to do with himself in regards to Cabe’s struggle and he may be tempted to try to bottle it all in. Yet, this is where he needs to let it out and hopefully he finds a way to do that. We just hope that he does, since shutting down could mean not only coming across as unsympathetic, but hurting all of his friendships in the process.
