Good Behavior season 2 episode 6 preview: Meet Letty’s grandmother

Good Behavior season 2 episode 6 is going to expand on the family history for Michelle Dockery’s Letty. After all, we’re going to meet her grandmother for the first time! Two and a Half Men alum Holland Taylor is playing the character, and it turns out that Alice may be one of the big reasons why Letty is the thief and con artist that she is. She’s smart, resourceful, and often also finds a way to get what she wants.

With that in mind, Letty is going to realize in this episode that trying to get the remaining $50,000 that she needs in order to buy back her freedom from Rhonda Lashever is not going to be as easy as she may have thought — and she probably didn’t even think it was going to be that easy to begin with.

“Letty (Michelle Dockery), Javier (Juan Diego Botto), and Jacob (Nyles Julian Steele) visit Letty’s grandmother Alice (Holland Taylor) to ask her for help with a $50,000 problem. But Alice, a shrewd con artist in her own right, makes Letty work for what she needs and drags Letty into her own high-class con.”

Even though we’re talking about much lower stakes money caper for Letty and Javier than tonight’s episode, Good Behavior season 2 episode 6 is as challenging a case for Letty as any other that she’s come across. She has to figure out how to get the money and also deal with someone in Alice who she’s not used to working with in this capacity. At least with Javier the two have a substantial working history. It’s family, but Letty doesn’t exactly have the best history with them. Just look at the delicate state of things right now between her and her mother Estelle — we still don’t have any idea as to how these two are ever going to get past Estelle trying to sell out Javier to the feds.

Luckily, there is plenty of time left this season — maybe with that comes some possible hope for redemption.
