Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 2 spoilers: Bill Zane is P.T. Barnum!

Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 2 is airing on The CW nest week and there is quite a bit to be excited about in it. This is especially true if you love the circus, love saber toothed tigers, or just love the thought of Billy Zane playing P.T. Barnum! This episode coming on October 17 is entitled “Freakshow” and it will pick up with us getting a better sense of what the Legends are going to be up in their quest to stop all of the anachronisms in the world. Effectively, they are trying to clean up some of their own mistakes, which they are going to realize is not altogether easy — and in some cases, it may cause them to continue questioning what in the world is even possible.

Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 2 synopsis – “The Legends find themselves in 1870 to fix the anachronism which happens to be at P.T. Barnum’s fledgling circus. However, Nate (Nick Zano) and Ray (Brandon Routh) accidently free a saber toothed tiger, creating a bigger problem. Meanwhile, P.T. Barnum (guest star Billy Zane) is on the hunt to capture Nate and Ray to make his show even more exciting for the crowd. Caity Lotz, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Victor Garber, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Keith Tancharoen directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Grainne Godfree (#302). Original airdate 10/17/2017.”

There is obviously going to be a lot of fun in here, especially when it comes to the storyline of Barnum trying to capture Ray and Nate, mostly because this is of course the sort of thing that he would want to do! He’s a guy who likes to sweep up people who he considers to be perfect for the circus, and in the 1870’s of course a guy who can turn into steel would be a big hit. The same goes for Ray Palmer and his fantastic suit. While we know that there are still some big reveals to come this season we certainly consider this to be an excellent jumping-off point for almost everything that is coming up down the road.
