Gotham season 4 episode 3 preview: Crystal Reed arrives at Sofia Falcone
When Gotham season 4 episode 3 airs on Fox, Crystal Reed and her character Sofia Falcone will be at the center! This character is going to expand the Falcone crime universe beyond the group of people we’ve already come to know as a part of it. Remember for a moment here that we’ve already had a chance to meet Carmine on many occasions coupled with Mario Falcone — otherwise known as Lee’s late husband who Jim Gordon murdered after he was infected with the Alice Tetch virus.
If there is one person that the Falcone family should have a reason to hate, it’s probably Jim Gordon. Yet, moving into this episode, it’s possible that they may try to partner with him in some way. The synopsis below offers up some evidence of that.
Gotham season 4 episode 3 synopsis – “Gordon takes matters into his own hands when he travels to Miami in attempts to persuade Carmine Falcone for his help in the fight against Penguin. There, he meets Carmine’s (guest star John Doman) daughter, Sofia (Crystal Reed), who unexpectedly follows Gordon back to Gotham. The battle for Penguin’s prized weaponry continues during auction night at the Iceberg Lounge and Bruce’s presence puts him on Penguin’s radar in the all-new “A Dark Knight: They Who Hide Behind Masks” episode.”
This episode is going to be one that is largely going to be about the shifting sands in Gotham, and at the center of this is of course going to be Gordon, the Falcones, and the Penguin. These are the major players in the city, and as a result of that, these are the people who you are going to see at the center of almost any story that we have a chance to see about the central politics of the season. We imagine that there will be a whole lot more going on in this episode beyond just what we’ve mentioned here; for one, Bruce becoming more of a major player in the Penguin’s life is both good and bad news. He does want to get a foothold on stopping crime in Gotham, but getting the attention of the big fish this early is not a good thing.
The Gotham season 4 episode 3 promo below gives you a small sense of what you can expect to see in the episode. We’re definitely excited to see what Sofia brings to the table, especially she seems to be both smart and formidable in this role.
