The countdown — which is roughly less than 50 days before the new season kicks off — means that it’s time for fans to once again start thinking about how the series might change during the season ahead. After a proposal, a tragic loss and a shocking end to last season, it’s been hard for viewers not to wonder what might be different in the season premiere.
Yes, there has been plenty of crazy summer days to distract attention from the show, but if you love NCIS: Los Angeles as much as I do, then in the back of your mind you’re still thinking about what might be happening during the summer as the characters live on in the TV.
No doubt the writers will fill us in about the particulars of the NCIS: Los Angeles team as soon as the show starts again, but who isn’t fantasizing about what might be happening next? After re-watching the entire season, we’re ready to see how this all comes together with new episodes. Plus there will be changes as life has dealt some unfair situations.

Reflecting on the ups and downs of the previous season, the anticipation of the upcoming season won’t be easy to harness. Fans are already talking online about scenarios they hope to see in the near future. Feeding into each other’s excitement, by the time September rolls around it might be tough to turn the channel to any other network besides CBS. Let’s just hope there is plenty of fun stuff still planned to keep everyone distracted until the TV drama returns, because we have over a month and fans are already super excited!
