Real Housewives of Orange County preview: Kelly Dodd, Shannon Beador reunite
This is one of the reasons why so many people do choose to watch this franchise to begin with: They want the drama, and to see people confront each other and see if there are ways to move past some of the events of the past. This is one of the reasons why we consider this season to be such a letdown so far: There hasn’t been that much of the whole group interacting. If there is more of that the rest of the season, there’s a reasonably good chance we could start to see things improve and get increasingly interesting.
If you look at the synopsis below, you can get a few more details regarding what’s ahead…
Synopsis – “Vicki tries to balance her crazy life alongside her growing relationship with Steve. Lydia plans a launch party for her new magazine, but is hesitant to invite everyone. Tamra organizes a sit down for Kelly and Shannon that she hopes won’t end in a screaming match. Meghan hosts a Sip-N-See for baby Aspen where all of the ladies will finally be in the same place for the first time in months, finally bringing Tamra and Vicki face-to-face.”
As for the promo below…
This offers up a little more of an indication as to some of the most interesting discussions of the hour, including Kelly Dodd and Shannon Beador having one of their first discussions since the recent dinner disaster earlier this season. It looks at first like things are going better, but then the preview makes it look as though Kelly just goes back and passes some of that information right along to Vicki.
Meanwhile, you also get a sense of Lydia trying to do her best at the moment to get her business off of the ground and going well, even though she finds herself in a bit of a pickle. After all, does she really want to invite some of her fellow Housewives to a party that could hold huge implications for the future of her business? We imagine this being the sort of thing that these people often have to wrestle with when it comes to the show — putting your brand out there is great publicity, but there’s also a risk that it goes south.
