Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 6 spoilers: The deserter plan

Turn: Washington's Spies season 4 episode 6

When Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 6 airs on AMC tonight, you will see a wide array of different things unfold. Many of them will have a thing or two to do with Benedict Arnold and trying to stop him. There’s already a plan to kidnap him in the works, and by the end of this episode, there could be some key developments.

One of the biggest things that you should be thinking about right now is simply what’s going to happy with Peggy. She overheard some valuable information between Cicero and Woodhull, and she has to determine what she wants to do with it.

For the sake of this sneak peek, though, we see more of how Ben, Brewster, and Anna are planning to bring in Arnold from afar, and it begins with using a deserter. The sneak peek shows the three of them pretending to give one of their own a hard time for his Benedict Arnold “affections,” but this is really them putting on an act. He is to go over to the British side, infiltrate their ranks, and be a key cog in the plan to bring Arnold alive. We do love how there is something almost comical in moments about the way this whole ruse plays out, even if the mission at the center of it is very serious.

After all, remember for a moment just where Abe is at the moment, and the amount of danger that he finds himself in. The truth here is that the Woodhull name is noteworthy enough that word spreads, and there are people all around him who may be able to kick over his metaphorical house of cards. Everything has to be done almost perfectly at this point, and it may require a good bit of luck.

Even if Arnold is taken in, there is also a larger problem out there in Simcoe. Both of these characters, we anticipate, will have enormous roles over the next few episodes as the story of Turn nears its inevitable conclusion. We obviously know how some of this story ends, but until that time, why not enjoy the journey?
