American Horror Story season 7 title reveal coming soon
In a new post on Twitter on this very subject, executive producer Ryan Murphy confirmed that the date of the title reveal coming is none other than Thursday, July 20 — which, as many of you know, really isn’t that far away at all! He also promised that after that reveal, it “will all make sense.”
By that statement, Murphy is showing some considerable self-awareness and surely realizes just how many questions there are floating in the ether about this season and the many mysteries that are associated with it. For the time being, for example, nobody has a clear understanding as to how the episodes are going to be themed around the 2016 Presidential Election, by Evan Peters has blue hair, or why Twisty the Clown is all of a sudden going to be mentioned in some shape or form. Murphy as a showrunner does love to keep many of his cards close to the vest, but this isn’t Roanoke and all signs seem to indicate that he will be a little bit more liberal where when it comes to the sharing of information here.
For now, the cast for the show includes Peters, Billie Lourd, Billy Eichner, Sarah Paulson, Colton Haynes, and a few other names that have been floated around out there but not officially announced as of yet. There will likely be many familiar faces, albeit one presented in a new way.

Yes, Murphy’s aware that you missed the old theme song…
If there was one complaint above all others when it comes to Roanoke, it’s interestingly that many people out there missed the classic creepy theme song. Ryan feigned ignorance on the subject in a separate tweet, which suggests to us that this is something that will probably happen. We do know that there are many people out there who’d be thrilled!
Personally, we do think that the theme song for the series is one of the cooler aspects of it, but at the same time we don’t care all that much provided that everything else surrounding it is really great. That’s why we weren’t bothered all that much by the omission last year; Roanoke was a return to form for the series, and in our mind really the first season since Asylum to not fall apart by some measure in the second half of the season. All of his shows have great beginnings, but many of them need a stronger middle and end.
