Talking Dead lineup: Kim Dickens, Colman Domingo, & a ‘surprise’
Given that tonight is the Fear the Walking Dead midseason finale, it shouldn’t be much of a shock that the Talking Dead lineup is massive. Oh, and it shouldn’t also come as a shock that there is a “surprise cast member” coming onto the show, as well.
The first thing that we have to remind you of for the time being is that “surprise cast member” doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re going to be seeing someone killed off. Often, this just means a performer who had a big role in the episode. Fingers crossed that we don’t lose anyone too major tonight, given that we like the cast in its current form, and are intrigued especially by what the show decides to do moving forward with Daniel Sharman and Sam Underwood as they turned up this season as Troy and Jake Otto.
As for the confirmed guests for the show tonight, what we know is that Kim Dickens (Madison) is going to be turning up, and she will be joined by none other than Colman Domingo (Victor Strand) and also Michael Greyeyes, who is playing the Big Bad as of late in Walker. He’s the one person intent on stopping Broke Jaw Ranch continuing to undergo operations — he claims that this is his land, and he will do what he needs to in order to find it — given that he is now responsible fully for what happened with Travis, it’s going to be tough for anyone to forgive him.
Chris Hardwick, master of all things awesome on these shows, will be back to host. (For the record, we’re very much psyched to have Talking with Chris Hardwick back on the air sooner rather than later.)
As for what else is coming tonight…
We imagine that there will be some discussions about the midseason finale, but then also a good tease for what’s coming on the other side! Given that the ratings for this show are not what they are for the flagship show, AMC does need to do whatever they can in order to better ensure that people stay psyched for the future of the franchise.
